When Lynn’s young son was diagnosed with autism at the age of two, she embarked on an unfamiliar journey through therapies, biomedical treatments, and special dietary restrictions. One morning while having coffee with her co-worker, Janice, and discussing the full time job of implementing Jacob’s gluten free and casein free diet; Janice suggested creating a way to help other moms in the same situation. After much thought and discussion they decided to try to create cookies that youngsters would not be able to tell the difference from the gluten and dairy based ones. In order to deliver the best possible product that did not contain preservatives, the two moms decided to offer their cookies as frozen cookie dough. There’s just nothing better than a freshly baked cookie!
